Andrew Prentis BVSc MRCVS, Veterinary Surgeon and Clinic Director
Andrew has been a veterinary surgeon since 1981. After several years as the Director of one of the teaching hospitals at the Royal Veterinary College in London, he set up the Hyde Park Veterinary Centre in 1998 to be able to pursue his interest in the use of complementary medicine alongside the best of modern medicine and surgery.
Andrew had worked in private veterinary practice in London and Kent, before joining and later leading the RSPCA Animal Hospital team in Putney. In 1991 he moved overseas, and spent 4 years looking after the horses, donkey and mules of Morocco before returning to the UK and the Royal Veterinary College. He has always had a strong interest in integrating conventional and complementary medicine and has been involved in the training of osteopaths who treat animals. He has appeared on many television and radio programmes and written extensively on veterinary matters, including most recently a weekly column in the Sunday Times.
